Mini Muse Lip Dessert is safe from age 3 and above. The formulation is designed for young, developing skin and has been dermatologically tested to confirm safety across this entire age range. That said, the products are especially loved by children aged 6–16 and their mothers. There is no upper age limit — the nourishing formula works beautifully on adult lips too.
We formulate Mini Muse Lip Dessert knowing that children will lick their lips — it is unavoidable and normal. Every ingredient is selected to be safe for incidental ingestion at normal cosmetic usage levels. Our flavours (peach and berry) are naturally derived, and our pigments are cosmetic and food-grade certified. Yes. Sweet almond oil is one of the safest and most widely used oils in children's skincare worldwide — non-comedogenic, gentle, and used in baby skincare for decades. We use organic, cold-pressed sweet almond oil, the purest and most nutrient-rich form. The only consideration is for children with a known tree-nut allergy: please consult your doctor before using any almond oil-based product.
'Natural' means an ingredient is derived from nature — but it can still be grown with pesticides or heavily processed. 'Organic' meets a higher standard: grown without synthetic pesticides or fertilisers and certified to organic standards.
