If a Lip Dessert isn’t right, you have 7 days from delivery to tell us. Here is exactly what we can and can’t take back, and how quickly you get your money.
A Lip Dessert goes on the mouth. Once the seal is broken we have no way of knowing it hasn’t been used, and we will not resell something that may have touched another child’s lips. This is a hygiene and safety limit rather than a preference, and it is the same rule every reputable cosmetics brand follows.
So: if you’ve opened it and simply changed your mind, we can’t take it back. If there is anything wrong with it, that’s a different matter entirely — see below.
Regardless of whether the seal is broken, tell us within 7 days of delivery if:
We’ll send a replacement or refund you in full, and we pay the return shipping. A photo of the item and the parcel helps us sort it in one message rather than three.

Paid online: refunded to the same card, UPI ID or account you paid from. We cannot send it anywhere else — that’s a rule of the payment system, not ours. Banks usually take 5–7 working days after we release it.
Cash on Delivery: we’ll ask for a UPI ID or bank account to transfer the refund to, since there is no card to reverse it onto.
Shipping is free on every order, so there is no delivery charge to deduct. You get the full amount you paid.
Message us before the parcel is handed to the courier and we’ll cancel it with no charge and no questions. Once it has been dispatched you can still refuse it at the door, or return it under the terms above.
We may also cancel an order ourselves — if the shade is out of stock, the address can’t be delivered to, or we can’t reach you to confirm a Cash on Delivery order. You’ll always be emailed when that happens, and nothing is charged.
Write to info@theminimuse.in with your order number and the words “Grievance” in the subject. We acknowledge grievances within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within 30 days, as required by the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
